Reading out Data
At first connect the handheld device to the PC using the provided cable to read out the
data. Following the handheld device is switched on and set to communication mode. The
communication mode can be reached at the sub menu “Serial Communication” according
to the key sequence shown below.
The display title „Ser Com” shows that the device is in communication mode and waiting
for the software IL2700 GUI to respond.
Starting the software automatically establishes a connection, confirmed by the mark
“COM Port opened” in the window “Logging”. If the connection isn`t established auto-
matically this is probably caused by a wrong setting of the COM port. Set the correct COM
port at the menu item “IL2700”
”Options (COM Port)” and try again to establish a con-
nection. The handheld device remains in communication mode all the time.
