E- CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF YOUR ICE MACHINE
CLEANING
Following warnings must certainly be abided before start cleaning.
WARNING!
• Unplug your ice machine before every cleaning.
• Always wear protective gloves during cleaning and maintenance. This will protect you from injuries.
• Never use abrasive and scratching substances (fl ammable and sparkling, solvent like gasoline, thinner, acid) as
cleaning agents. Never use fl owing and pressurized water for cleaning. (Picture 30-31)
• Never wash outside of your product. It may damage your product or cause electrical shock.
External Cabinet Cleaning
External surface of your device must be wiped with warm detergent water and a sponge. Then, it must
be dried with a clean and dry cloth.
Ice Store Cleaning
Remove the ice accumulated in the store of your device.
Remove the ice door and ensure full discharge of water in the water tray, if any.
Clean the store and production unit with warm soapy water and a cotton cloth. Then a clean cloth must be
used for the internal surface.
If there is lime deposit in the store, descale the lime deposit by using a descaling solution and clean the inside
of the store deeply. Make sure that no solution residues remain inside the store.
Cleaning the Ice Making Unit
a.
Close the tap.
b.
Remove the top cover.
c.
Ensure discharge of the water on the tray by holding mixing pedals.
d.
Since the water tray is at the top, unplug your device and pour one of the descaling solutions inside the
water tray.
e.
Leave this solution inside the tray for 20-30 minutes and ensure cleaning the tray by rotating pedal
manually time to time.
f.
Switch on your device by plugging in and discharge descaling solution from the tray.
g.
Open the tap and when the water is full, pour bicarbonate resolved in a glass of water into the tray.
Ensure system operation this way for 5 minutes.
h.
Discharge water by holding the pedals.
i.
Place the top cover by cleaning the ice store.
Cleaning Water Inlet Filter
Unplug the device.
Turn off the water supply.
Clean the filter.
Reverse the steps for restarting the device.
