Install Filter

loss:
The white
f
loss needs to be placed on top of the biological balls in the
f
irst chamber at the rear of the aquarium. (Facing the front of the aquarium, chamber on the
far left).

Attach the pump:
Attach the pump to the pipe end that is pre-installed. Place the pump in
the last chamber at the rear of the aquarium. (Facing the front of the aquarium, chamber on
the far Right). The power lead needs to feed out of the top of the
f
ilter chamber.
6.
Install the light:
The Light comes with two metal brackets that need to be installed in either
side of the light. Attach the power supply and place the light on the top of the aquarium.
7.
Fill your aquarium with Salt Water:
You can purchase saltwater from UK Jelly
f
ish or mix
your own. To do this you’ll need to purchase RO water & Marine salt. For the measurements
see below.

Once the aquarium is
f
illed it will hold 60 Litres, you need to add 30 grams of salt per litre.

Litres x Grams = Salt in Grams So… 60 x 30 = 1800 grams of salt.
8.
Check water
f
ill level:
Fill the main body of the tank up to the out-take hole at the top left
hand side of the tank. Then
f
ill the rear of the tank (black section) until the water is level with
the middle separator. The middle separator is in the black rear compartment of the tank.
9.
Power up your Pump & Light:
Plug in the pump & light then switch on the power. Your
aquarium is running!
10.
Final Adjustments:
You can alter the
f
low of water into the aquarium by turning the stop
valve at the top of the aquarium. Generally this valve will be in the ‘mid-position’.
