3.5 Electrical Connection

IMPORTANT

Be sure to attach a belt cover when making electrical connections.

The direction of rotation is indicated by an arrow on the belt cover.

Make connections to the motor so that it rotates in that direction.

(See "Figure 1: Labeling Position.")

See Fig. 8 and Table 3. when making connections to the motor.

Use crimp contacts for the connections.

After tightening, check that there is no looseness.
Also check the screws on the motor side for looseness.

When making connections, be sure to provide safety circuits, such as

circuit  breakers,  magnetic  contactors,  and  thermal  overcurrent
contactors.

There is a risk of a fire/electric shock in the event of current leakage.

Be sure to establish a ground.
It is recommended to install a dedicated ground-fault interrupter.

Install  grounding  wires  so  that  the  wire  length  becomes  as  short  as

possible.

Decide the electric wire size in consideration of a voltage drop of the

electric wire.

WARNING

Be  sure  to  follow the  safety  laws  and regulations  in  the  country  and

the  region  you  use  this  product  (e.g.  fire  laws  and  electrical  wiring
regulations) when installing and operating it.
