3
Functions.
The various functions are set using crown and two pushers 1 and 2 on the left-hand
side of the case.
Pusher on crown A to activate the hand indicator in register at 4 o'clock:
W (winding) Normal position.
Winding of the movement: turn the crown clockwise.
Winding of the musical system: turn the crown counter-clockwise.
D (date)
Bidirectional quick date setting.
Important: do not use quick corrector between 10 pm to 2 am.
T (time)
Adjusting the hour and minute hands forwards and backwards.
We
recommend to adjust time when the musical mechanism register
is on OFF.
Caution :
if the musical mechanism is activated, turn the hands slowly
to let each melody playing cycle take place.
Pusher 1
At 10 o'clock. Moving the hand in register indicated ON/OFF.
Used to activate or deactivate the musical mechanism.
Pusher 2
Melody on call. Even the hand in register at 8 o'clock is in modus "OFF" -
melody deactivated - the melody can be called by using pusher 2.
Winding the movement and the musical mechanism.
The crown is used to wind the movement clockwise and the musical mechanism
counter-clockwise. Register indicator on "W" at 4 o'clock.
The movement is also wound automatically (only the movement), however, thanks
to the oscillating weight. The winding mechanism is fitted with a disconnecting-gear
system which allows unlimited winding.
The automatic winding mechanism does not function when you are not wearing your
watch and the movement stops after about forty-height hours (after maximum wind-
ing). When the movement has been stopped for a long period,
30 turns of the crown
will wind it to provide sufficient accuracy.
The musical mechanism can be wound using the crown counter-clockwise.
Put the
hand in the register at 4 o'clock in position "W"
with the pusher on crown A.
A mini-
mum of 30 turns of the crown are required to fully wind the mechanism.
The crown does not reach an end stop when the musical mechanism is fully wound as
its winding mechanism is fitted with a disconnecting-gear system.
