HEADBOARD AND FOOTBOARD
A choice of headboards and footboards is available in various materials which present different features to adapt
to the customer’s needs and/or environment. Option of plastic boards or MDF boards is available.
IMPORTANT
Ensure there is no obstruction between the frame and the footboard connectors when installing the footboard.
Transport handles/bars
Headboard and footboard are both built to ease transportation. The plastic boards and laminated boards offer
built-in pull-push handles and the wooden boards offer transportation bars.
Headboard
Ensure that the headboard is installed on proper side as marked. Reverse position would make gaps wider and
could result in increased risk of patient entrapment. Refer to labeling on headboard if required.
Integrated pump holder (optional)
An integrated pump holder is located on the plastic footboard. Ensure the device is secured and properly installed.
Footboard without controls (optional)
Bed may be configured without controls on footboard. A small dry-erase white board is available on bed’s footboard
and can be used to write any useful information.
IMPORTANT
If the bed is configured without controls on footboard, the bed is automatically equipped with a 5 functions patient
control which may be stored at head end of the bed on a specific support identified to this effect.
If bed is optionnally configured without controls on footboard, the power up and battery charge level will not be
visible. An audible signal will indicates when the bed’s battery charge level is low and bed needs to be power
supplied.
