Floor mount (optional)
The bed with floor mount offers the option of a bed without casters. It also
offers the possibility to fix the bed to the floor. To move the bed from one
location to another, refer to the
Transporting bed
Foot control system (optional)
The foot control option is situated on each side of the bed, on the frame; refer to
for localization. The option is intended to activate the elevation system and the backrest section with a foot. This
allows the caregivers to attend to the patients while being able to move the bed and facilitate their intervention.
The UP/DOWN press buttons offer motion of backrest section and elevation system. With a foot, push the required
button to either activate the hi-lo elevation system or the backrest section.
To activate:
1. Press and hold button.
2. Release button when the required position is reached.
Motion interrupt (optional)
The bed can be equipped with a motion interrupt system that detects an obstruction under the bed when the
bed elevation system is being lowered. The system will then interrupt the bed motion. If bed is equipped with a
display screen on footboard, a message will appear in the display screen to indicate that an obstruction has been
detected. If bed is equipped of bumpers with sideview lights, the sideview lights will be flashing orange when an
obstruction is detected while bed is being lowered.
Drainage bag support
Two drainage bag supports with grooves are located on each side of the bed frame, under the seat section. Refer
to
(page 8) for localization. Weight on the supports will be included to the displayed patient
weight if the bed is equipped of the integrated scale.
