Another patient control configuration offers, in addition
to the optional features, a press button for control of
the room lights. Depending on the configuration, the
light bulb button can offer the possibility to turn ON or
OFF the backlight option or the reading light option.
To use optional feature:
• Press the light bulb button to turn ON back lighted controls or reading light and press again to turn OFF.
• Press the ceiling light pictogram to send a signal to the light control system for any commands on the room
lights.
Caregiver siderail controls
Caregiver siderail controls
are located on the outside of each head siderail. Do not use sharp or small pointed
objects on membranes to avoid permanent damages. Pictogram informs the user of positioning possibilities and
features.
IMPORTANT
Refer to the
pictograms and definitions
section (page 15) to support identification.
Standard configuration
The UP/DOWN press buttons offer motion of backrest
section form 0

to 60

, motion of thigh and foot sections
simultaneously and elevation system in a height range
from 10" to 31.5", depending on caster option.
To activate:
1. Press and hold button.
2. Release button when the required position is reached.
Caregiver control with optional features
In addition of standard configuration, press buttons offer
one touch positioning for a 30

of backrest section, chair
position and flat surface. A LED indicator ON indicates
that the bed is power supplied.
To use optional features:
• Press and hold the button for a 30
o

• Press and hold the button for the chair-position positioning.
•
Press and hold button to flatten patient sleep surface.
IMPORTANT
Buttons for 30º backrest positioning and vascular positioning will not operate if bed is unplugged.
