Footboard control with display screen
Blue buttons are associated with actions whereas grey
buttons are not and cannot be selected in that specific
screen. Refer to the
pictograms and definitions
(page 15) if required. The information section is
displayed in white, when applicable, on left side.
The instructions for the positioning buttons situated
beside the display screen are the same as the ones
from the membrane without display screen. Refer to
Bed exit configuration (page 46)
functions.
IMPORTANT
If deactivated in Factory settings menu, total lockout, when activated through the display screen, will not operate
if bed is on battery mode or if footboard is removed. Ensure that the proper settings according to the patient’s
condition are in place. If activated in Factory settings menu, total lockout will remain operational even on battery
mode.
Screen will fall in sleep mode when not in use and will display a screen saver if configured. Refer to the
Power up
and modes of operation
section (page 27) for sleep mode details; refer to
Inform Settings
for screen saver details.
Bed exit detection levels
There are three bed exit control levels of detection available. Ensure to select the right level of detection according
to the patient’s condition.
Detection 1 (out-of-bed)
is designed to monitor a patient getting out of the bed. This level is the
less sensitive of the three levels. An audible signal will be triggered if the system detects that the
patient has completely got out of bed.
Detection 2 (bed exiting)
is designed to monitor a patient attempting to get out of bed. An audible
signal will be triggered if the system detects that the patient is sitting on the edge of the bed.
Detection 3 (movement)
is designed to monitor a patient moving in the bed. This level is the most
sensitive of the three levels. An audible signal will be triggered if the system detects a movement
from the patient in the bed. This detection level is only available for bed equipped with display
screen.
