Using the Multiple Scan Modes
You can select multiple portions of the image scanned in Preview mode using
the Multiple Frame tool.
To create more than one selection frame:
1.
Scan an image in Preview scan mode and click on the
Multiple Frame
tool.

To select the area of the preview scan you want contained in the first
frame, click on the
point
at which you want to begin the frame, and then
drag the tool diagonally until the area of interest is contained in the
marquis box.
3.
Adjust the marquis box by holding the cursor over any edge of the box.
When the two-headed arrow appears, drag the line to re-size the box.
4.
Click outside of a selected area to save the frame. (The marquis box will
turn into a green frame.) To create other frames, repeat steps 1, 2 and 3
until you have created all the desired frames.
5.
Click on the
Job List
button
to view thumbnails of your selections. If you
want to re-crop one of the frames, double-click on its
thumbnail
. The
green frame will revert to a marquis box and you can make adjustment.
Click outside the frame when you are finished and the new image appears
as a thumbnail in the job list.
To see information about any thumbnail:
Click on the "
!
" at the bottom of the thumbnail.
To remove a selected frame:
1.
Click on the
Job List
button. Thumbnails of the selected frames appear in
the job list window.
