Battery & Charger Safety Precautions

WARNING:

 

The warning, cautions and instructions discussed in this user manual cannot cover all the possible

conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution
are factors that cannot be built into this product.

WARNING:

 

Get to know your LED work light. Do not use until you have read and understood this user manual.

1.   

Never attempt to open the battery for any reason

. If battery housing has cracked, discontinue use immediately and do not try to recharge it.

2.   

DO NOT submerge in water and 

never charge a wet LED work light

 or if battery shows signs of corrosion.

3.   

Do not use charger if power cord is damaged

. Replace damaged cord or charger immediately.

4.   

Do not charge battery when surrounding temperature is below 0°C or above 45°C

. Store lamp in a cool place when not in use.

5.   

Unplug charger when not in use

.

6.   

This appliance contains batteries that are non-replaceable

. For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the detachable supply unit provided with

       this appliance.

7.   

The contents of the battery is slightly acidic

. Do not incinerate the battery, it can explode in a fire.

8.   

A small leakage from the battery may occur under extreme usage, charging or temperature conditions

. This does not indicate a battery failure.

       However, if the battery housing is cracked and leakage gets on your skin, follow these steps:

 

a)   Wash with soap immediately 

 

b)   Neutralize area with mild acid such as vinegar or lemon juice

 

c)   If leakage gets into the eyes, flush with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes, then seek medical attention

The manufaturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person shall be the only people that replace the light source contained in this luminaire

.

Maintenance, Cleaning & Service

Your work light requires very little care and maintenance. Ensure the product is switched off and properly cooled. Simply clean the lens regularly with non-abrasive
cleaner. Use similar care for the body and bracket. When servicing, use only identical parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage.

Recycling

Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities. Contact your local government for information regarding the

collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the

food chain, damaging your health and well-being.

General Tips on How to Use

1.   

ON/OFF/Dimmer Switch:

 Press the power button once to turn light on full power. Press the power

       button a second time to switch the light to medium power. Press the power button third time to turn 

       the light off.

2.   

Charging Indicator:

 A flashing red indicates the battery is not fully charged. A red indicator light

       means the battery is charging. A green indicator light means the battery is fully charged.

3.   

Adjusting the Light Direction:

 Your work light can be tilted vertically. To adjust, loosen the side 

       locking knobs and adjust head to desired position, and retighten the knobs.

4.   

Lithium-ion Battery:

 Batteries do not have a memory and do not require to be completely discharged 

       periodically. After use, charge battery so that it is fully charged for the next time you use this device. 

       A fully charged battery will only loose about 2% of its charge per month during storage.
