Do not over load the reel. Observe the max. load specifications.

When you fully unwind the rope, leave at least 4-6 turns on the reel drum to ensure enough friction.

Rope or steel rope must be evenly wound on the drum. Reel is equipped with safety mechanism against

reverse motion.

Never unwind the entire rope under load/tension! The rope may come out of the drum.

To fasten the rope on the drum you do not need any screws, nuts or

holding mechanism. Fasten the rope by pushing it through the openings on

the drum side as seen on the picture. Before use make sure that all screws,

nuts and fastening clamps are securely tightened.

Fastening the load to the rope hook

Make sure the safety hook clamp is working properly. It is prohibited to

use your machine without properly functioning hook clamp.

Handle assembly

Put the handle on the reel shaft and secure it in place with safety nut.

It is prohibited to use your machine without properly fastened handle.

Risk of bodily injuries.

Fast unwinding without load

Turn the safety clamp to its middle position and pull the rope out until

you reach the required length.

Note

You must hold the safety clamp in this position during the entire unwinding process.

In this position the reverse motion mechanism is disabled!

If the rope is under tension or load, the

drum may start spinning out of control, as well as the handle, which may seriously injure the operation

personnel.

CAUTION

When you fully unwind the rope, leave at least 4-6 turns on the reel drum to ensure enough friction and to

make sure that the rope is securely fastened on the drum.

OPERATION

7

Winding the rope under tension or load

Flip the safety clamp towards the drum.

Turn the handle and start to reel the rope in.

The safety mechanism will click on each teeth, preventing the

rope from going out if you release the handle.

Unwinding the rope under tension or load

Turn the handle in the same direction as during winding in to

release the safety mechanism.

Hold the handle firmly to balance for the weight of the load.

Flip the safety clip away from the drum.

Turn the handle slowly until the rope is released (no tension).

CAUTION

When you fully unwind the rope, leave at least 5turns on the reel drum to ensure enough friction and to make

sure that the rope is securely fastened on the drum.

Keep your machine/tools clean. Dirt may enter the inner mechanism of your machine and cause damage.

Do not use aggressive cleaning solution or paint thinners to clean the machine.

Clean plastic parts with cloth dipped in soup water.

Clean and lubricate metal surfaces with a cloth dipped in paraffin oil.

If you are not using your machine, conserve it with grease and store it in dry place to prevent corrosion.

Make sure that all parts work properly and that are in good working conditions. Make sure that no rust or

deterioration due to salt exposure are present.

Do not use the reel if the rope is damaged, tangled up or the diameter (rope cross section) is narrowed

down. Do not touch the rope, pulley or drum during work.
