Adjustment of the blades of LM 20 disc (e.g. for calcium ammonium nitrate 27.5% N,
working width of 24 m):
Unscrew the wing nuts (Fig. 4/5/6) located on the underside of the disc.
Set
the short blade (Fig. 5/1) in the hole “B3” of the scale (Fig. 5/2) and set the long blade
(Fig. 5/3) in the hole “A3” of the scale (Fig. 5/4), and screw in the wing nuts (Fig. 4/5/6).
Control of the set working width by means of portable measuring vessels.
The actual setting values on the scale of distribution discs may differ from the values stated
in the table due to changing physical properties of fertilisers.
Therefore, it is recommended checking the adjusted working widths by means of
portable measuring vessels (see p. 24).
