5.2 Border disc setting in line with the border fertilisation rules
The setting of the TL border disc (Fig. 6) is performed by means of telescopic blades (Fig. 7) in
accordance with the data from the fertilisation table, depending on the type of fertiliser and the
distance between the first pass and the field border.
TL disc blade settings for “Ammonium nitrate 32%N – gran. ZA Kędzierzyn”
The distance between the first pass and the field border
– 12 m, blade setting in accordance
with the table (a part of the table is presented at the bottom of the page): B2 - 200; A4 - 200,
where “B2” and “A4” are the position of the blade on the disc scale and “200” is the length of
the telescopic blade.
a) Unscrew the wing nu
ts (Fig. 6, item 1) located on the underside of the disc. Set blade “A”
(Fig. 6, item 2) in hole “4” on the scale (Fig. 6, item 3) and blade “B” (Fig. 6, item 4) in hole
“2” on the scale (Fig. 6, item 5) and tighten the wing nuts.
Changing the blade setting to a higher value:
- the bearing surface of the blade more steep
– larger width
b) unscrew the pressure nut (Fig. 7, item 1), change the movable part of the blade to the length
l = 200 mm and screw in the pressure nut. Repeat the procedure in the case of the second
blade.
Extension of telescopic blades:
- higher spread
– the bearing surface of the blades is flatter
Border fertilisation within the 5
–18 range m in accordance with the fertiliser classification in line with the mineral fertiliser
standards
