During operation and transport, the machine has to be lifted by means of the hydraulic lift
of the tractor.
Do not distribute any other materials than the ones that the distributor is intended for.
Do not fill the load container with fertiliser with disassembled or lifted relieving screens.
Exceeding permissible load capacity can result in an accident.
When performing adjustment and service operations, the machine has to be lowered to its
resting position and the tractor engine has to be switched off. Make sure that the rotating
parts do not move. Disconnect the drive shaft.
The elements loosened in order to perform an inspection, repair or replacement
operations have to be permanently fixed again.
Do not wear undone clothes with loose hanging or protruding elements when operating
the fertiliser distributor and performing service, adjustment and repair operations.
Do not transport any persons, animals or objects not related to the operation of the unit
on the machine.
The operator must not leave the unit with the fertiliser distributor assembly drive turned
on.
Make sure that the jointed-telescopic shaft shield is always mounted and secured with
chains from turning. Immediately replace damaged shields.
Working assembly drive should be turned off during transport.
The balance of the tractor with the suspended fertiliser distributor, its steerability and
braking capacity must be maintained.
Make sure that the hydraulic elements are not pressurised when connecting hydraulic
pipes of the tractor. Check the position of the levers controlling the hydraulic system of
the tractor.
2. RESTRICTIONS REGARDING USING PUBLIC ROADS
Be particularly careful and observe the existing traffic regulations when driving the unit on
public roads.
Additionally, a warning light device and triangular plate have to be mounted in special holders
on the fertiliser distributor for the duration of transport. Check whether the wiring system of
the tractor, to which the warning light device should be connected, is in working order.
NOTE:
Driving the unit on public roads without the warning signs and lights
required under traffic regulations MAY RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.
3. PREPARATION OF THE FERTILISER DISTRIBUTOR FOR OPERATION
Preparation before the start-up
Read carefully the operation manual prior to the start-up. The fertiliser distributor can be
operated by a single individual
– the tractor driver.
The fertiliser distributor is sold assembled and does not require any special preparation
before the start-up.
Suspend the distributor in the following manner:
−
connect the tractor’s flexible connectors to the machine’s linkage points and secure the
connection;
−
lift the fertiliser distributor and mount the jointed-telescopic shaft;
−
use the tractor’s lifting equipment to level the fertiliser distributor’s position;
−
connect the hydraulic system (applicable to the hydraulic control version).
