8.5 Troubleshooting
If the operating results are not satisfactory, check the
following points before systematic checks and before no-
tifying the service center:
Test the warning signal.

Check the contactor(s).
x
Checking the frame leakage (insula-
tion test)

Check function and mechanical
wear of the accelerator pedal.

Check the electrical system of the
drive motor.
x
Brake system: Check brake power,
replace brake disc if necessary or
adjust air gap.

Battery
Check battery voltage

Clean and grease the clamps and
check for corrosion and damage.

Check the battery housing for da-
mage.
x
Charger
Check the main power cable for da-
mage.
x
Check the start-up protection during
the charging process.
x
Functionality
Check the horn function.

Check air gap of electromagnetic
brake

Emergency braking test
x
Check reverse gear and regenera-
tive braking.

Check safety button function

Check steering function
x
Check the lifting and lowering func-
tion.

Check function of drawbar switch

General information
Check that all stickers are legible
and complete.
