13 Troubleshooting
14 Spare parts
14.1Ordering spare parts
The spare parts may be purchased with the authorised
dealer or directly with the manufacturer. Please find the
corresponding contact data in Chapter 1.2 Customer
service.
Indicate the following basic information for requests or
orders of spare parts:
- Type of device
- Item No.
- Position No.
- Year of construction:
- Quantity
- Required mode of dispatch (mail, freight, sea, air,
express)
- Address of dispatch
Spare part orders which do not include the above indica-
tions may not be taken into consideration. If the indica-
tions regarding the mode of dispatch are missing, the
product is dispatched at the discretion of the supplier.
You will find information regarding the device type, item
No. and year of construction on the type plate which is
fixed on the device.
Example
The Cylinder head gasket for the Generator PG-I 8 SR
must be ordered. The Cylinder head gasket has the
number 3 in the spare parts drawing 1.
By ordering spare parts, send a copy of the spare parts
drawing (1) with the marked part (Cylinder head gasket)
and marked positon number (3) to the dealer or spare
parts department and provide the following information:
- Type of device:
Generator PG-I 8 SR
- Item number:
6706108
- Drawing number:
1
- Position number:

NOTE!
If you cannot solve the problems with your generator
yourself, please contact your nearest UNICRAFT dealer.
Please write down the following information from the gene-
rator or the operating manual beforehand so that you can
be helped with your problem in the best possible way.
- Model name of the device
- Serial number of the device
- Year of manufacture
- Exact error description

Motor does not start
1. No fuel in the tank
2. Fuel is not injected into the
Combustion chamber guided
3. Carburettor clogged
4. Fuel lines clogged
5. Spark plug defective
6. Air filter clogged
1. Add fuel.
2. Open the fuel tap and the vent on
the fuel filler cap.
3. Clean the carburettor.
4. Clean the fuel lines.
5. Replace the spark plug
6. Clean the air filter
Oil level indicator flashes
1. Oil level is low
1. Topping up oil
Spark is not generated
1. Spark plug defective or dirty
1. Replace spark plug.

of wrong spare parts!
Dangers may result for the user and damages as well
as malfunctions may be caused by using wrong or
damaged spare parts.
- Only use original spare parts of the manufacturer or
spare parts admitted by the manufacturer.
- Always contact the manufacturer in case of uncer-
tainties.
Tips and recommendations
The manufacturer's warranty will become null and
void if non-permissible spare parts are being used
