Step 4: Open the drain valve to drain residual fuel from
the carburetor.
Step 5: Remove the spark plug and pour about one ta-
blespoon of SAE 10W30 or 20W40 engine oil
into the spark plug hole.
Step 6: Screw the spark plug back in.
Step 7: Let the engine turn several times with the pull
starter (with the ignition switched off).

Step 8: Clean the outside of the generator and apply a
rust protection.
