3) PPPoE
If your ISP (Internet Service Provider) has provided the account information for the PPPoE connection,
please choose the PPPoE connection type (Used mainly for DSL Internet service).

The following items are displayed on this screen:

Enable:
Enable this WAN interface (DATA can’t be disabled).

Type:
Select PPPoE if your ISP provides xDSL Virtual Dial-up connection.

VLAN Enable:
Optional. Enable VLAN to configure VLAN ID and VLAN Priority Level.

VLAN ID:
Optional. VLAN ID of this WAN interface.
►
Priority Level:
Optional. VLAN Priority Level of this WAN interface.
►
Primary DNS:
Enter the IP address of your ISP’s Primary DNS (Domain Name Server)
manually. If you are not clear, please consult your ISP. It’s not allowed to
access the Internet via domain name if the Primary DNS field is blank.

Secondary DNS:
Optional. If a Secondary DNS Server address is available, enter it.
►
Username:
Enter the Account Name provided by your ISP. If you are not clear, please
consult your ISP.
►
Password:
Enter the Password provided by your ISP.
►
Service Name /AC Name:
Optional. The service name and AC (Access Concentrator) name, which
should not be configured unless you are sure it is necessary for your ISP. In
most cases, leaving these fields blank will work.

LCP Interval:
PPPoE will send an LCP echo-request frame to the peer every
