Battery Memory Effect
Rechargeable batteries can develop a “memory” (reduced charge capacity) caused by
repeated charge and discharge cycles. The battery life will seem to be shorter every time
you use the unit.
To Avoid Memory Effect
At least once a month, operate the unit until the “Battery Low” indicator appears. Avoid
“topping off” the charge after using the phone for a short time. Also, do not charge the
Rechargeable Battery for extended periods of time.
