TWO-LINE OPERATION
The handset and the base can be used on separate telephone
lines at the same time. For example, if the handset is on a call
with
line 1
, you can make or receive a call with the base and
Speaker on
line 2
.
The
line 1
LED on the base blinks to indicate line 1 is in use.

Dialing Base Unit Memory Numbers
For example, to dial memory number 3 from the base:
1. Press
line 1

line 2
, or
speaker
on the base.
2. Press
mem
on the base and number
3
on the base keypad.
If you select a memory location that does not have a stored
number, the base will beep rapidly and the phone will
not dial.

EXP 920 returns to the last
line used.

TIP
When you attempt to make
a call, the EXP 920 informs
you if a telephone line is
currently in use.
