MDI allows the connection of two endpoints without using a crossover cable. When Auto
MDI-X is available, the MDI can switch between regular MDI and MDI-X automatically, de-
pending on the connected device.

CP phone allows for the setting of QoS parameters on layer 2 and layer 3 (DiffServ).
