Answering a call via the loudspeaker (speakerphone
mode)
Suggestions for using speakerphone mode:
• Tell the other party that you are using speakerphone mode.
• The speakerphone works best at a low receiving volume.
• The ideal distance between the user and the telephone in speakerphone mode
is about 50 cm (approx. 20 inches).
The phone rings. The caller appears on the screen.

Press the key shown. The LED lights up.

Raise or lower the volume. Keep pressing the key until the desired volume is set.
Ending a call

Press the key shown. The LED goes out.
Switching to speakerphone mode
Prerequisite:
You are conducting a call via the handset.

Hold down the key and replace the handset. Then release the key and continue
the call.

Set the call volume. Keep pressing the key until the desired volume is set.
U.S. mode
If the country setting is set to U.S. (consult your service personnel), you do not
have to hold down the loudspeaker key when replacing the handset to switch to
speakerphone mode.
