AUDIO READ-OUT FEATURE
The meter has the audio read out feature. The meter reads out the insulation resistance
values and other parameters like Polarization index(PI) and Dielectric Absorption Ratio(DAR)
with the help of powerful speaker. This feature comes in very handy where the screen of
meter is not directly accessible.
Depending upon the mode of the meter it will announce values accordingly. In the IR,
STEP and RAMP modes the meter will read out the resistance after the test has been
completed. In the PI mode it will read out the Polarization Index(PI) and in the DAR mode it
will read out the Dielectric Absorption Ratio(DAR) after the test is completed.
This feature can be turned on/off by the user. So to check whether this feature is on/off
you can look at the mute/unmute icon in the status bar as shown below:

indicates that the audio read-out feature is ON.
indicates that the audio read-out feature is OFF.
To turn this setting ON/OFF:

Click on the icon on the home screen to enter the settings menu.

Then click on the icon on the settings screen to enter the other settings window.
⚫
Then click on the mute/unmute icon to turn this setting on/off.
