Chapter 1 Functions of Product
Some products may not offer certain functions.
1.1 Function of DVR Front Side
1. Number Buttons
: These are used when a channel is selected in the live mode or the video-
recorded image playback mode, when the password is entered in the dialogue box and when the
IP is entered in the network-setting mode.
2. LED DISPLAY
- POWER: When power supplied, the green light turns on.
- REC: When video recording is at work, the red light turns on.
- NETWORK: When connected to the network, the green light turns on.
3. USB (2EA)
: This terminal is used to backup images in the HDD and captures still images are
made. A USB mouse can be used for convenient DVR operation.
4. Function Buttons
- LOCK: This function is to prevent an unlicensed person from performing system operation. If it is
pressed one time, the DVR is converted into “Lock”. After converting, if any key is pressed, the
window for entering the password will open. Only when the password is completely entered will
the key unlocked.
- FRZ (FREEZE): This is used to temporarily pause the screen during live mode. If the button is
pressed back, the state of the temporary pause will be unlocked.
