5. Troubleshooting Guide
This is a general guide on troubleshooting. Follow these guidelines if you are
having troubles with using the terminal.
Problem
Solution
LCD is blank or black.

Ensure the RED power LED is on
·
Check LCD timeout, LCD will turn
off after a programmed period of
time.
Cannot hear voices
Ensure the voice volume is turned on.

Cannot hear sounds when keys are
touched
Ensure the sound volume is turned on.

Picture not showing.

Ensure the picture options are
enabled.

Settings

Check
terminal
information
(system). Ensure the ‘Camera
Sensor OK’ is shown.
Card not working.
·
When scanning the card make
sure the BLUE LED lights up for
half a second. A sound should be
heard also.

Ensure the card is registered.

Ensure the authentication type for
the user is correct. See
3.2.1.4.
