DIGITAL INPUT AND OUTPUT
The
Unico CDPrimo
is equipped with USB-B digital input designed for a
connection to a USB
host
device (usually a PC).
The UnicoCDPrimo is recognized by the master device as a “USB Audio
Device”, it can be used as an audio device for the computer and assigned to
any software as audio and video player.
The USB interface is compatible with 32, 44.1 and 48kHz sample rate data.
The digital input can be used to convert a digital into an analog signal
through the
Unico CDPrimo
DAC and preamplification circuit, thus
offering the customer a hi-fi level external sound card.
After the connection between UnicoCDPrimo and master device has been
established and asserted a “USB” label on the display of the player will
inform the user the external digital input can be selected.
The digital output sources audio data in S/PDIF format and with the same
sample rate as streamed from the selected source (44.1kHz from the CD
drive, 32, 44.1 or 48kHz from USB input). This can be used in case you
prefer to convert the digital signal through an external DAC.
Simply connect the converter input to the coaxial digital output plug.
