On-Screen Setting

Enter the
Long Time Door
option. You can enable/ disable the door open for a long period. Whether
you select

, you have to follow the on-screen prompt to swipe your card before this
setting is activated and the screen displays “Auto-opening door turn on/ off”.

Using the numeric keypad to enter the default system login password

Enter the
Set Device ID
option. You can specify the terminal ID, 001, by default.
Enter the
Set Baudrate
option. You can select a baud rate, 115200 bps by default, to match the con-
nected computer. Available rates are 9600, 19200, 38400, and 115200 bps.
Enter the
Set Language
option. You can switch the terminal language. Current languages supported
are English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Enter the
Set Backlight
option. You can set the backlight behavior. Select
Always turn on
, if you want
the backlight to stay on all the time. Select
Always turn off
, if you want the backlight to go off all the
time. Select
Turn on onwork
, if you want to the backlight to turn on when a button is pressed.
Enter the
Set Network
option. You can configure the network settings.

Description
Set Net Password
Prompts you to enter the network password.
Set IP Address
Prompts you to enter the IP address, 192.168.2.127, by default.
Set Net Mask
Prompts you to enter the network mask, 255.255.255.0, by default.
Set Gateway
Prompts you to configure the network gateway.
Set Port Number
Prompts you to specify a local port number, 10002, by default. The
maximum valid port number is 65535.
Set Baud Rate
Allows you to select a serial port baud rate, 115200 bps, by default.
Available rates are 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200 bps.
Confirm Setting
Select
Yes
to confirm the network settings. The screen displays “Modify
network success!”.
Select
No
to go back to
Set Network
options.
