06 MAINTENANCE
6.4 MONTHLY
NOTE: Disconnect power to the machine at its source before performing the monthly maintenance procedures.
Use proper lockout/tag out (LOTO) practices.
1. Check belt for tightness and alignment. Call a qualified service technician if necessary.
a. Check belt for uneven wear and frayed edges.
b. For groove-pulley drive systems, verify alignment by placing a straightedge across both pulley faces. The straight edge
should make contact with the pulleys in four places.

6.5 QUARTERLY
NOTE: Disconnect power to the machine at its source before performing the quarterly maintenance procedures.
Use proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices.
1. Tighten door hinges and fasteners, if necessary.
2. Tighten anchor bolts, if necessary.
3. Check the bearing. If it is loose or noisy, call a qualified service technician if necessary.
4. Check the shock absorbers, if there is abrasion, dislocation or rupture, please adjust replace it
6.6 OUT OF BALANCE PROTECTION
Out of Balance protection in equipped in this machine to guard against an out of balance condition. There is jiggle switch
located on the front right under side of the washer. In a severe out of balance condition the switch will be turned on and will
send a signal to the computer. The machine will stop automatically by the computer, ensuring a long lifespan of the entire
machine. If the switch triggers too frequently, the limiting swing can be adjusted.
6.7 VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE (VFD)
1. Each parameter has been set at the factory and should NOT be adjusted.
2. The VFD status and error codes can be viewed on the controller. If you receive a VFD error, contact your Unity Laundry
Systems dealer.
