SAFETY WARNINGS
INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Follow information on label & instructions regarding installation near combustible materials, insulation, and building
materials & in Dry or Wet locations. Do not install in areas exposed to combustible vapors or gases.
This product must
be installed by a person familiar with construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved, in
accordance with the applicable installation. Be sure to ground product to avoid potential electrical shock or
other potential hazard.
Use of accessory equipment not recommended by the manufacturer or installed inconsistent
with instructions may cause an unsafe condition. Do not completely or partially block light emerging from product, as this
could cause an unsafe condition. Do not allow other items to come into contact with the product, as this may cause an
unsafe condition.
WARNING:
This product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth
defects and/or other reproductive harm. Thoroughly wash your hands after installing, servicing, handling, cleaning, or
otherwise touching this product. This device complies with FCC CFR Title 47 Part 15, Class A requirements for EMI/RFI.
Step 1: Unpack & Inspect
Carefully remove fixture from packaging. Use gloves to prevent dirt and
oils from transferring to the unit. Inspect the fixture for any defects before
proceeding. Confirm the product ordered matches the product received.
Step 4: Relocate Access Plate
First slip the large tab of the access plate into the hole (a) and push
forward so the two smaller tabs drop in as well. Again, be careful to avoid
wire abrasions.
Step 2: Remove Access Plate
Remove retaining screw (a), then slide the entire plate in the direction shown
in (b). Use the tab at (C) to lift the access plate and pull free of the chassis.
Step 5: Secure Access Plate
Slide the entire plate in the direction shown at (a), then replace the
retaining screw (b).
Step 3: Make Connections
Reach into the hole (a) and pull the wired, luminaire disconnect out of the
fixture, being careful to avoid wire abrasions. Use the poke-in connectors
(b) on line-side of the luminaire disconnect to connect hot (black to black)
and neutral (white to white). Connect ground to grounding screw (C) on the
back side of the luminaire disconnect.
Step 6: Suspended Mount
Suspended mounting can be achieved with the adjustable cable
mounting kit (BLC48-ACC-CBLKIT15) as shown in (a1) & (a2) or with
chain mounting kit (BLC48-ACC-PNDKIT06) as shown in (b). Both are
sold separately. For each, ensure the hooks are securely installed in the
fixture chassis.

Mount only to a mechanically sound surface; All
fixtures must be connected to a grounded, three-wire supply; All electrical
connections must be capped with UL listed wire connectors rated 600V or
higher; If supply wires are located within three inches of the LED driver, use
wire rated for at least 90°C; Consult qualified electrician before installing.
