Before cleaning or mainte-
nance remove the plug from
the socket and wait until the
unit has cooled down.
Never immerse the unit into
water!
1. Clean the plates after each use
by removing them and wiping
them with a damp cloth. In order
to avoid any damaging of the
teflone coated surface, do not use
scratchers or similar tools.
2. In case of strong soiling, soak for
some time in warm water with a
detergent.
3. The plates may also be cleaned in
the dishwasher, but take care that
they are not scratched by other
parts.
4. Do not use any abrasive scouring
agents, steel wool, metal objects,
hot cleaning agents or disinfec-
tants, since they can damage the
appliance.
5. The heating tubes and radiation
panels below the plates and the
housing can be cleaned with a
damp cloth.
6. After cleaning the cable can be
rolled by means of the cable take
up and the unit can be locked.
7. The contact grill can be stored
vertically and requires thus only
few space.
