For assembly you need a Philips head screwdriver.
1. Before assembling, ensure that you are assembling the appliance on a level,
dry substrate.
2. Remove all packaging materials and transport safeguards. Keep the packag-
ing material, such as plastic bags or Styrofoam away from small children
- danger of suffocation!
3. Check whether all needed parts are present. If parts are missing or dam-
aged, contact your dealer or our customer service department.
4. Remove the screws that are pre-mounted on the motor housing.
5. Fasten the rear basket cover on the motor housing. The carrying handle on
the basket cover must point upward. The holes provided on the cover must
be aligned precisely above the bores on the motor housing.
6. Fasten the basket cover with the screws.
7. Place the impeller on the axle on the motor housing, and fix it in place with
the screw. The ring must sit on the flattened side of the axle.
8. Connect the front basket cover to the rear basket cover, by hooking the hook
of the front basket cover into the groove on the rear basket cover.
9. At the bottom of each of the two covers there is a hole for the fastening
screw. These holes must be precisely in line, one above the other.
10. Fix the two basket covers in place by closing the clamps on the edge.
11. To secure the cover, firmly tighten the fastening screw with nut on the
underside of the cover.
Caution: The edges of the impeller can be sharp - danger of injury!
OPERATION
1. Ensure that the appliance is standing on a suitable, level substrate, and has
been set up so that it is safe and stable.
2. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
Adjusting the tilt angle
3. Slightly unscrew the knurled screws (see illustration).
4. Tilt the basket cover to the desired angle. Caution: Only
tilt the cover in the intended range and not beyond
the point of tangible resistance, to avoid damaging the
appliance.
5. Fix the fan in place in the set tilt angle by tightening the
knurled screws.
