5. Remove spacer bars. Assemble anti-rotate
brackets to top of scale load cells. See
figure 2-4. Bracket holes on left-hand and
right-hand load cells to be positioned toward
cart center line with bracket retaining ring UP.
Bracket retainer ring to be seated down on
the load cell shoulder surface. See figure
2-5. Align the flat areas of the anti-rotate
bracket with the flat areas of the load cell
to engage. Bracket plate is correctly seated
when plate is approx 1/8” or less from load
cell outer sleeve. See figure 2-7.
6. Orient compression cells so that the lead
cables face rear of cart. Raise axle and
check to assure load cells and anti-rotate
brackets are aligned and that the cart load
is present on compression cells. See figure
2-6. Anti-Rotate brackets will limit load cell
rotation to ±10°.
7. Remove cart supports and lower cart to
ground.
8. Insert axle retainer pins and cotter pins.
Adjust axle retainer link as needed to closely
align link with mounting holes, see figure 2-6.
