1. Check to be sure the
Battery
switch
is
ON. (See Figure 9.4)

3. Check to be sure the
Main Power
switch
is on (see Figure 9.5).
4. Check to be sure the
Selector
switch
is
set to platform (up) (see Figure 9.5).
5. If the
Battery
Switch
(see Figure 9.4),
Emergency Stop
,
Main Power
, and
SELECTOR
switch
(see Figure 9.5) are
all set correctly, and the engine will not start
from the platform control box, set the
Selector
switch
to ground (down) and try
to lower the platform from the ground control
box.
Pinching And Crushing Hazard. At the next
step the platform will come down and the
scissor arms will close. Keep all body parts
out of the scissor arms and out from under
the platform.

6. If the platform will not lower, the person on
the ground will need to use the manual bleed
down
(see Figure 9.6) located at the front
of the chassis.To lower the platform pull on
the cable
) until the platform is fully
lowered.
NOTE
If the platform does not come down, refer the
problem to a qualified trained service technician.

Pushing / Towing
An
RT
can be safely pushed or towed by hand on
level firm sur faces. To do so:
