Cooling System for the Conventional Cab Trucks is shown in figure 40.
Before filling the engine cooling system open the hood, pour coolant through the radiator
neck until the lower edge of the neck while the cab heating system valve is open. Start the engine
for 1-2 minutes to evacuate air from the system. After engine stop add the coolant up to the lower
edge of the neck if necessary and close the cap tightly. Then add coolant through the reserve tank
neck up to “MAX” mark on the tank surface, and close the cap tightly.
Operation of the truck without reserve tan cap is forbidden!
For visual inspection the reserve tank is made transparent.
