Installation position  

  The  Fl  is  always  installed  upstream  of  the  pipeline 

section and consumer to be monitored. 

  A backflow preventer or KFR valve must be installed upstream 

of  each  Fl.  Normally  this  valve  is  already  present 
behind the water meter. 

  However,  if  several  Fl  are  used  (like  fuses),  each 

Fl requires such a valve.
