Now proceed with installing the drawbar coupling to the chassis drawbeam:
Fit the coupling flange (7a) in to the central hole of the chassis drawbeam from
the inner side;
For drawbar couplings E506, E509
fit the reinforcement plate
(7b) from the rear side of the chassis drawbeam (on to the protruding part of
the coupling flange) and fix it with the four bolts (24). Tighten the bolts as
follows:

For drawbar couplings E503, E504 and
E505 install the second rear flange (5a).
Lubricate the threads of the tie rod
(9), tighten the castellated nut (3) by
hand in the first instance taking care
to ensure the coupling is level
horizontally;
Insert the rubber buffer (8a) and the
rear flange (4);
Insert the tie rod (9) with the front flange (5b) and the rubber buffer (8b) through
the coupling flange (7a) which is already bolted on the drawbeam;
ATTENTION: Use only self-locking nuts
