Children in the home

Packaging material (e. g. plastic, polystyrene) can be dangerous for children.
Danger of suffocation! Keep packaging material away from children.

The appliance is designed for use by adults who are familiar with these operating
instructions. Children are often unable to recognise the danger of electrical appli-
ances. Ensure proper supervision and do not allow children to play with the appli-
ance – there is a danger that children could get locked inside.

Tumble dryer additives (e. g. tumbler dryer sheets) can irritate the eyes, mouth and
throat and even cause choking! Keep tumble dryer additives out of the reach of
children.

Use the childproof locking facility.
Note on use

Do not use the appliance if visibly damaged or if the inlet pipes are damaged.

If the appliance is not operating properly, disconnect it from the electricity supply
immediately.

Keep animals away from the appliance.

To protect your washing, follow the fabric care symbols and the hints and advice
in the 'Drying tips' section.

Do not operate the appliance without the door filter or with a damaged door filter
(fire hazard from fluff build-up!).

Before closing the appliance door and starting a programme, ensure that there are
no foreign objects or pets in the drum.

During the drying process, the back, drum and inside of the appliance door be-
come hot. Care should be taken to avoid touching these parts.

The condensate water collected is not suitable for drinking.
䡲
After use, switch off the electricity by turning off the wall switch or pulling out the
mains plug. Never pull the mains plug out by the cable.
Do not use the pivoting operating panel to lift or move the
appliance.
