Appliance description

The appliance is designed for use in the home for extracting cooking fumes and smells
from above the cooking surface.
The model can be used to extract or recirculate air.
It can be used as a wall hood or a built-in range hood in a wall unit.

2.2

Extraction model

A fan draws cooking fumes and smells from above the cooking area. The metal grease
filters clean the extracted air, which is passed through a connecting pipe fitted with an in-
tegrated non-return valve and through the air duct to the outside.

When in use, ensure there is a sufficient supply of fresh air to replace the air that is
being extracted.

2.3

Recirculation model

Using an activated charcoal filter in the appliance

A fan extracts cooking fumes and smells from above the cooking surface. The air is
passed through the metal grease filters and activated charcoal filter, grease particles and
odours are largely removed from the air and it is then circulated back into the room. Ac-
tivated charcoal filters are only used in the recirculation mode. To this end, check that
the switch is in the correct position (extraction

 / recirculation

). Read more about

this (see page 11)

If activated charcoal filters are not supplied with the appliance, these should be
ordered and installed before using the appliance for the first time.

Using a LRC1 air recycling cassette

The appliance extracts the cooking fumes and smells from above the cooking surface
through the metal grease filters, which retain the grease particles. The air is then blown
via a duct through the air recycling cassette. An activated charcoal filter in the air recyc-
ling cassette removes the cooking fumes and smells. The cleaned air is then circulated
through the outlet grille back into the room.

The activated charcoal filter is more effective at the lower power levels.

Equipment

1 extractor fan

Illumination

2 respectively 3 grease filters

1 activated charcoal filter (not included in scope of delivery)

The extractor fan has 3 power levels

1 = Low, 2 = Medium, 3 = High level.

Power levels 1 and 2 are suitable for continuous operation.

Level 3 (high) is for shorter bursts of intensive extraction of cooking fumes and smells,
e.g. when searing meat. When finished, switch back to level 1or 2.
