Hot air + steaming
A heating element at the back of the appliance heats up the air inside the cooking
space. A fan then circulates the hot air evenly around the cooking space. The amount
of steam can be increased at any time by pressing the
adjusting knob or the
button. The supply of steam can be interrupted by pressing the
adjusting
knob or the
button.
– The
symbol flashes when steam is not activated and illuminates when the
steam function is activated.
Individual preparation of food using dry and humid heat (e.g. meat)

When cooking meat, add steam roughly during the first third of the cooking
time.
Top / Bottom heat

– Recommended cooking space temperature: 180 °C
Range: 30 °C to 230 °C
Do not put protective film or aluminium foil on the floor of the
cooking space, as this can result in lasting damage.

Top / bottom heat is the conventional method of
cooking. Heat comes from the heating elements
from above and below. It is only possible to bake
and roast food on one level. Depending on which
level is being cooked on, the top or the bottom
heat can be more or less effective.
Especially suitable for roasting succulent joints, as
well as for baking pies, cakes, biscuits, etc.
