If the text THIS SIDE UP points upwards:

Insert the lip of the cover over the opening of the rear
bracket (1) and click into place (2).

Position the cover where you want it .
7.7 Accessories
7.7.1 Ice cube tray with lid
Using the ice cube tray

When the water is frozen:
u
Hold the ice cube tray briefly under warm water.
u
Remove the lid.
u
Gently twist the ends of the ice cube tray in opposite
directions.
u
Release the ice cubes.
Disassembling the ice cube tray
The ice cube tray can be disassembled for cleaning and for
removing the ice cubes.

Lift the ice cube tray by the tab and open it.
8 Maintenance
8.1 Carbon filter
The carbon filter is located in the compartment above the
fan.
It guarantees the best air quality.

Replace the carbon filter every 6 months.
With the Reminder setting on, a message on the display
prompts you to replace it.
q
The carbon filter can be disposed of with the regular
household waste.
8.1.1 Removing the carbon filter

Pull out the compartment Fig. 28 (1).

Remove the carbon filter Fig. 28 (2).
8.1.2 Inserting the carbon filter

Insert the carbon filter as shown in the diagram

The carbon filter clicks into place.
If the carbon filter is pointing downwards:

Push the compartment in Fig. 29 (2).

The carbon filter is now ready for use.
8.2 Defrosting the appliance
WARNING
Improper defrosting of the appliance!
Injuries and damage.
u
Do not use mechanical equipment or other methods to
speed up the defrosting process other than those recom‐
mended by the manufacturer.
u
Do not use electrical heating or steam-cleaning appli‐
ances, naked flames or defroster sprays to defrost.
u
Do not use sharp objects to remove ice.
