BALANCING OF THE
BOOM
After having hooked the balance spring
as described in the previous paragraph, it
is necessary to proceed to balance the
boom.
1.
Unblock the automation
2.
Rotate the balance spring manually in
order to increase or to diminish the
traction. The boom must be stabilized
at 45°.
3.
Fix the locking nut and block the
motor reducer.
m
ATTENTION: verify correct
operation of the balance spring
• with the boom positioned
vertically, the balance spring is not
in tension
• with the boom positioned
horizontally, the balance spring is
in tension
EMERGENCY LOCK RELEASE
In case of power loss, bypassing the motor manually can unblock
the barrier mechanically. Insert the key provided with the
equipment in the lock, make 1/4 of a turn in clockwise sense and
rotate the handle towards the left: the boom is free and can be
opened manually.
To restore automation simply rotate to the initial position and
again rotate the key to the closed position.
DESCRIPTION OF THE CONTROL
UNIT
The is equipped with a display that allows, besides easy
programming, the constant monitoring and status of all
entrances to the premises; moreover, its programming menu
allows for simple configuration of command logic.
In accordance with the European norms on matters of electrical
safety and electromagnetic compatibility, EN 60335-1, EN 50081-
1 and EN 50082-1 are characterized by the complete electrical
isolation between the control circuit and the power circuit.
Other characteristics:
• Power supply protected from short circuits within the
controller, on the motors and on the connected accessories.
• Obstacle detection by monitoring of the motor current
(amperometric sensor).
• Automatic learning of end stops
• Test of the safety devices (photocells and mechanical
obstruction sensors) before every opening.
• Deactivation of safety entries through the configuration menu:
it is not necessary to jumper the relative safety terminals if a
safety switch is not installed, it is sufficient to just disable the
function from the relative menu.
• Led flashing light built into the porthole located in
the upper cover
• Possibility of operation in absence of power voltage through
optional package batteries (cod. 161212).
• Housing for installing Sensiva photocells
• Auxiliary relay with programmable logic for courtesy lights,
flashing signal or other use.
• ENERGY SAVING function
