Map material can be saved either on your NAV700 or memory cards:

that you can copy all essential data.

5.  External antenna

In case that the reception of satellite signals is disturbed in any way, you may have to use an optional
external antenna. This will be connected on the backside (9) of the device and place it at a location where
free access to the sky is granted.

6.  TMC-Receiver

By using an optional TMC-Receiver the device will receive actual traffic information via the mini USB
Interface on the backside (11). Please make also sure that the software you are using is supporting the TMC
function.

How to connect:

•

Please connect the car-charger with the Mini_USB_In of the TMC-receiver.

•

After that please connect the mini USB plug of the TMC receiver with the mini USB Interface on the
back of NAV700 (11).

•

To have a better reception of the TMC-signals, please connect the external antenna (2.5mm plug)
with the TMC receiver.

•

Connect the external antenna at a suitable place in your car, where reception of signals is
guaranteed (e.g. windscreen).
