NEVER

use your central vacuum system or GarageVac to pick

up wet debris or liquid without using your wet pickup system.

Once you are finished cleaning up your liquid, you will

need to dispose of the water and unhook your system.

Emptying the canister

2

Remove the two hoses plugged into the top of

the canister.  (Figure 1)

Use the handle to carry wet pickup canister to a

sink or outdoor area where you will be disposing

of the dirty liquid.  If heavy, you may want to carry

it by supporting it from the bottom.

Next, unhook the latches from the canister by

lifting up on each one from the bottom of the

latch. (Figure 2)

Remove the lid.  Dump the liquid out.

Drying you hose for storage

Be sure to let your hose air dry before using it again.

**Not drying hose completely can cause clogs and or

damage to your vacuum system, as the moisture can

work its way to the vacuum system.**

Take the hose that you used for vacuuming and

hang it up so that is can drain.  Do not coil it

for storage until it is completely dry.  Also, do

not use it to pick up dry dirt & debris until all

moisture is removed.

Begin vacuuming up the liquid mess.  Be sure to not

overfill the tank.  Depending on the size of clean up,

you may need to empty the tank multiple times.
