3.16.6 Fuses
Figure 3.58
On the RH side there are six trip fuses. Fuse faults are indicated by Err4 in the left and FUSE in the
right display.
Fuse layout is shown in ”3.16.2 Functions of the Control Box” on page 52, points 29-34.
It is not possible to see which fuse has tripped since the white buttons do not pop out. Feel with your
finger. When the fuse is reset, the message in the display will disappear. A fuse is only tripped by a
power surge, i.e. a short circuit in one of the circuits. Therefore try to find the fault before resetting
the fuse.
3.16.7 Tramlining flaps
Tramlining is carried out by the spring loaded tramlining flaps (A) which are integrated into the out-
lets of the seed distributor heads in the seed hopper. In the activated position (Position 1) the flaps are
raised into place to close the outlet while opening a trap to allow seed to return to the hopper.
The flaps are controlled by a spring (B) on a motor driven disc (C) under the distributor head. The
electric motor has three connections to the Control box: An earth, an ON signal and an OFF signal.
Check the function of the tramlining system at the start of the season and at regular intervals throug-
hout the season, see ”4.2 Checking the seed feed” on page 70.
