Draining condensing water
Prior to first use each season or following extended interruption, be sure to drain condensing water
from the tank.
!
Park the machine on an inclination to have the tank inclined towards the drain connector at its
bottom.
!
Put a vessel under the cock (C) and open it. Keep the cock open until clean oil comes out. Then
close the cock. If necessary, fill up with oil.
Starting after filling up oil or replacing the filter and oil:
When filling up or replacing the oil, air will mix with the oil in the tank. This air must be removed
prior to operation of the system since it could cause damage to the pump and pump motor.
!
Start the fan with the tractor at idle.
!
Listen to the fan and wait until it operates smoothly.
!
If air bubbles are visible in the inspection window, allow the fan to run another while at idle
speed.
!
Increase the fan rpm to approx. 3000 rpm.
!
Listen to the fan and wait until it operates smoothly.
!
The fan should now be operated at normal operating speed.

NOTE!
Never stand under the intermediate packer or drill if it is suspended and only secured with
the tractor's hydraulic lifting arms. Prior to any service on the intermediate packer, be sure to se-
cure it properly with trestles, etc. on firm, level ground.
!
Lubricate the intermediate packer every 100 hectares.
!
Retighten the bolt joints on the intermediate packer at the end of every season.
