Information about SMGM standard classification EN 55032-Class A
The SMGM communication system uses the physical layer of IEE802.11n for transmit-
ting data.
In combination with SMGM rails and couplers, SMGM devices adhere to the EMC limit
values of EN 55022-Class A. Therefore, the system is classified – in accordance with
EN 55032-Class A (industry) – as information technology equipment and not as a ra-
dio device.
Based on the high emission distance and the adherence to the EMC limit values, the
reservation of an adequate WLAN channel for a fail-proof operation of the system is
not required.

A minimum distance of 2000 mm between the SMGM system and other radio systems
must be observed!
