TIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONS!
Information on HF wiring
For error-free operation of the SMGM system, the coaxial cable lengths must be veri-
fied with a technical level calculation.
The HF cables used have a significant influence on the maximal possible segment
length and the number of mobile participants.
Please contact VAHLE Sales/technical customer service for detailed dimensions of the
coaxial cable lengths for the connection of the SMGM ANT1 / ANT2 interfaces.
Adhere to the routing information/assembly instructions in the “SMGM installation
manual”.
Proper system functioning can only be guaranteed with the original VAHLE HF cables.
They have the required shielding against interfering radiation from the environment.
Make sure you use the appropriate coupler (stationary/mobile) for both rail systems -
SMGM / SMGX.
