Maintenance
Availability, safety, reliability, and the service life of the
product can only be guaranteed by carrying out regular
inspections. The inspection may require maintenance to be
carried out earlier, depending on the results.
6.1
Caring for the product
▶
Clean the casing with a damp cloth and a little solvent-
free soap.
▶
Do not use sprays, scouring agents, detergents, solvents
or cleaning agents that contain chlorine.
6.2
Cleaning/checking the filter
▶
Regularly remove the filter installed on the cold water
inlet in order to clean or, if required, replace it.
6.3
Cleaning/checking the draw-off point
1.
Regularly descale the draw-off point using commer-
cially available agents in order to remove any scale de-
positions.

Regularly remove the flow rate control on the draw-off
point, if there is one, in order to clean or, if required,
replace it.
6.4
Procuring spare parts
The original components of the product were also certified
by the manufacturer as part of the declaration of conformity.
If you use other, non-certified or unauthorised parts during
maintenance or repair work, this may result in the product no
longer meeting the applicable standards, thereby voiding the
conformity of the product.
We strongly recommend that you use original spare parts
from the manufacturer as this guarantees fault-free and safe
operation of the product. To receive information about the
available original spare parts, contact the contact address
provided on the back page of these instructions.

If you require spare parts for maintenance or repair
work, use only the spare parts that are permitted for the
product.
6.5
Checking the product
▶
Check during maintenance:

Abnormalities on the product.

The cleanliness of the water filter in the cold water con-
nector.

The leak-tightness of the supply lines.
The electrical installation of the product must only be
checked by a qualified electrician.
If the cold-water filter is dirty or damaged, it must be cleaned
and serviced by a competent person.

Decommissioning
▶
Disconnect the instantaneous water heater from the
power supply.
▶
To have the product permanently decommissioned, con-
tact your competent person.

Recycling and disposal
▶
The competent person who installed your product is re-
sponsible for the disposal of the packaging.
If the product is labelled with this mark:

In this case, do not dispose of the product with the
household waste.
▶
Instead, hand in the product to a collection centre for
waste electrical or electronic equipment.
If the product contains batteries that are labelled with
this mark, these batteries may contain substances that are
hazardous to human health and the environment.

In this case, dispose of the batteries at a collection point
for batteries.
