Note
Select eco mode in order to ensure
that, even in strong wind, the room
is ventilated correctly and the air
humidity is regulated.
4.3.2 eco mode
In eco mode, the ventilation function is
deactivated and the wind guard fins on the
ventilation units are closed.
A light sensor in the control monitors the
brightness in the room. Night mode or day
mode is switched on depending on the
brightness.
Sensors in the control monitor the air hu-
midity and the CO
₂
content of the room air.
If the air exceeds any of the preset limit
values, the ventilation units therefore start
to reduce the air humidity and/or the CO
₂
content:
–
In day mode, the air is exchanged via
alternating aeration and ventilation at an
average ventilation speed. In this case,
a regenerator in the ventilation unit ab-
sorbs the heat from the room air during
aeration, and emits it back into the in-
flowing outdoor air during ventilation.
–
In night mode, the air is exchanged
via cross ventilation in one direction
(MASTER aerated) at the lowest vent-
ilation speed in order to keep noise to a
minimum.
If the values fall below the limit values
again by five per cent, the ventilation units
return to standby mode.
The limit value for the air humidity can
be adjusted over three levels using the
buttons on the control.
Feedback:
–
When activating eco mode, the LED at
the MASTER flashes red once.
–
If eco mode is active, the LED at the
MASTER flashes white and red once a
minute.
–
If preset limit values are exceeded, the
LED on the MASTER lights up red and
remains lit.
4.3.3 Manual mode
In manual mode, the connected ventilation
units each ventilate and aerate alternately
for 70 seconds. The ventilation speed can
therefore be adjusted to a variety of levels.
A regenerator in the ventilation unit ab-
sorbs the heat from the room air during
aeration, and emits it back into the inflow-
ing outdoor air during ventilation.
The sensor monitoring is deactivated dur-
ing manual mode.
Feedback:
–
After selecting the ventilation speed in
manual mode, the LED on the MASTER
flashes white several times (one flash
for each ventilation level).
Note
Select eco mode in order to ensure
that, even in strong wind, the room
is ventilated correctly and the air
humidity is regulated.
4.3.3.1 Aeration/ventilation
The aeration or ventilation function can be
activated in manual mode. In this case, the
ventilation units operate permanently at
the highest ventilation speed.
When aeration is activated, all of the vent-
ilation units continuously convey fresh air
from outside to inside the building. In doing
so and where necessary, the regenerators
in the ventilation units emit stored heat to
the inflowing outdoor air.
When ventilation is activated, all of the
ventilation units continuously convey used
air from outside to inside the building.
Feedback:
–
When activating the aeration/ventilation,
the LED at the MASTER flashes red
